Green Signal inagurated by hon'ble Prof. Ahsan Iqbal

An exhibition "Green Signal" was inagurated by hon'ble Prof. Ahsan Iqbal (Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reform) at Zahoor ul Akhlaq Gallery, NCA on 12th April,2016 at 11:00 a.m. It was combined effort of practicing artists from National College of Arts, Lahore and art students from Shaal Art Gallery, Quetta. The exhibition celebrated the contribution of Pakistan Railways by paying tribute to its historical role in uniting our nation.

'Be:Cause' Iqbal Geoffery's Exhibition

Renowned artist and Paris Biennale Laureate, Iqbal Geoffery, exhibited his Neo Aesthetics work in a solo exhibition titled ‘Be Cause’ that convened on the 21st of September, 2015, at the National College of Arts’ Zahoor ul Akhlaq gallery. The opening of the exhibition was conducted by Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri. Mr. Iqbal’s work received much acclaim and won laurels among the faculty and students of the National College of Arts and was attended by a substantial number of people.

"Earth, Body and Cycle" Shazia Mirza's jewelry pieces

Shazia Mirza’s clay jewellery exhibition titled Earth, Body and Cycle, commenced on Thursday at the NCA’s Zahoor ul Akhlaq Gallery. The artist showcased 28 handcrafted jewellery designs.
Shazia Mirza said she had conceived the idea last month during an art residency in Fuping, China, where she worked with clay from Xian region. She said the clay was similar to that used to make the famous terra cotta warriors.
